Further, she explains, after having unprotected intercourse, it might be a sensible decision to get checked up for any type of infections that result in long-term problems if remain uncured .
Do you know The Most Common Reason for Women’s Death in India?
While talking to the Cosmopolitan and sharing her overall experience in the gynaec and infertility industry, Dr. Aastha reveals this unknown fact for most of the people. Shockingly, Cervical Cancer is one of the most common reasons for women’s death in India. It introduces with an STD infection which can be cured with a proper diagnosis in the early stages but most women are unaware of this. She added further, the HPV virus (human papillomavirus) which leads to hundreds of health complications also causes cervical cancer which can persist in a curable state in the cervix for atleast 10-15 years, but the major problem is the negligence of the patient towards it until it enters its advanced stage.
“Every Woman Must Visit Their Gynae At Least Once A Year”
Everyone deserves right to privacy, of course, but that secrecy has left many women to cope alone, in pain, and often uninformed. So you must keep your embarrassment and awkwardness aside and be honest to your gynaecologist so as to let them make a proper diagnosis and consult the right treatment. She would like every woman to know that the unpleasant or throbbing pain during intercourse is a symptom, being too dry is a symptom, so you must share even the smallest details and if you don’t then the potential diagnosis would not be formed.
At last but not least, she highly recommends to not waste your efforts while looking for the solutions of your problems over the internet and don’t follow the fake and misguided facts on the internet. Taking proper advise and medical care is always the best way forward.
